mein Name ist Hanna. Ich bin nun seit 3 Jahren Lehrerin in Simbabwe. In den letzten Monaten habe ich so einiges erlebt, wovon ich euch nun berichten möchte:

 

Als ich anfangs hergekommen bin musste ich alles zurück lassen. Meine Familie, meine Freunde, Bekannte und Kollegen. Es war schon eine große Umstellung. Hier kannte ich ja niemanden und ich hatte ziemliches Heimweh. In der guten alten Heimat ging das Leben weiter. Paare trennten sich oder heirateten. Kinder wurden geboren und Großeltern starben. Und ich bekam immer nur am Rande etwas mit.

 

Am schlimmsten jedoch waren zu Anfangs die Handykosten. In Deutschland sucht man einfach im Internet nach günstigster Handytarif und kann dann Flatrate quatschen ohne Ende. In Afrika ist man glücklich, wenn man irgendwo empfang hat. Glücklicherweise habe ich nun aber Internet in der Schule und kann so per skype solange ich will mit meinen Lieben in der alten Heimat quatschen.

That BPA can leach out of plastic during everyday use, causing health problems, is hardly news. It’s now widely known that BPA mimics the female hormone estrogen and may affect fertility and promote cancer. And just last year it came out that BPA may also lead to heart disease and diabete and liver problems.

Studies have shown that detectable levels of BPA exist in more than 90 percent of the U.S. population, but exposure has been blamed on not only drinking water and food, but also on dental sealants, dermal exposure and inhalation of household dust.
